Five wooden island discs to paint and decorate however you like, then hang on the tree or stick on the fridge. A Christmas craft kit made on Scilly.
Five islands to paint, and as much colour as you dare. The Five Islands Kit is a Christmas ornament craft kit that lasts well beyond Christmas, with a wooden disc for each of Scilly’s five inhabited islands, St Mary’s, Tresco, St Martin’s, St Agnes and Bryher. Each disc is engraved with its island’s name and outline, and comes with a walnut island shape to glue on top.
Then it’s over to you. Paint the sea bright blue, cover it in dots, add a splash of glitter or leave the wood natural. There’s no right or wrong way, so it’s the perfect kit for letting little ones go wild with colour. Thread on a coloured cord and each island becomes a Christmas ornament, or add a magnet and it’s ready for the fridge.
Emma designs every kit and laser cuts the parts in her studio on St Mary’s. As a former design and technology teacher with a passion for hands-on learning, she makes her kits to be fun to build while developing practical skills and creativity along the way.
