Pour yourself a cup of tea, because this is where Emma gets properly lost in colour using her distinctive Klimt technique. Her original art from the Isles of Scilly starts with polymer clay pushed through an extruder and cut into tiny tiles. She then fits them together by hand until shapes and patterns start to appear. It’s patient, fiddly work, the kind where you look up and your tea has gone cold. Step back from a finished piece and all those little tiles turn into something you’ll keep finding new details in.
