Elm Strakes is a hand-dyed yarn in a warm honey tan, named after the elm planks traditionally used to build a gig’s hull. It’s part of the Gigs & Ganseys collection, inspired by Scilly’s pilot gig racing, and dyed by TedKnits exclusively for Emma, so you won’t find it anywhere else.
Each skein holds 400m of fingering/4 ply in Merino Luxe, a soft 100% merino. Because every skein is dyed by hand, the colour can vary slightly from one to the next.
