Build your own Scilly boat with this wooden construction kit. Each kit is one of the boats you’ll see working around the islands, from the St Mary’s Boatmen’s Association launches that take visitors between the islands, to the Tresco Boat Services fleet and the Spirit of St. Agnes.
Emma designs every kit and writes the instructions herself, then laser cuts the poplar ply parts in her studio on St Mary’s. As a former design and technology teacher with a passion for hands-on learning, she makes each kit to be fun to build while developing practical skills and creativity along the way.
