Description
Long before Hugh Town became the heart of St Mary’s, Old Town was where the island’s boats came home. Its little quay still stands at the edge of the bay, the granite warmed by the sun and worn smooth by centuries of tides, while the water laps quietly at its steps.
Old Town Quay holds that peaceful corner of Scilly in one small frame: stone, seaweed and sea, layered tile by tiny clay tile. Emma made it by hand in her studio on St Mary’s. It is an original piece, and there is only one.
