At Old Town, the slipway runs gently down into the bay, worn by generations of boats hauled up and launched again. On a calm morning, the water at the bottom of the slip turns those clear, impossible blues that Scilly is known for.
Old Town Slip is Emma’s tribute to that everyday island scene, built up tile by tiny clay tile in her studio on St Mary’s. It is an original piece, and there is only one.
