Description
When the tide drops, Scilly’s rock pools become small worlds of their own. Crouch down and look closely, and you might spot a starfish clinging to the rock, half hidden among the seaweed and limpets.
The Starfish captures one of those quiet low-tide discoveries. Thousands of tiny clay tiles build up every arm and frond, so there is always another detail waiting to be found. Made and signed by Emma in her studio on St Mary’s, it is an original piece, and there is only one.
